Pre-Audit Assessments

Audits are expensive.  The better you prepare, the more likely you are to pass.

A typical audit can cost a lot with no guarantee of passing.  Preparing for an audit means spending a lot of time reviewing policies and procedures while having employees document evidence that the policies are being followed.  A full or partial assessment can help cut the audit prep costs and help ensure a better chance of passing.

A good assessment includes a policy review. This can help ensure that your policy set is complete.  Combined with the process and procedure review, this ensure that policies are being followed.

Any issues identified in the assessment can be tracked to completion.  The evidence collected for the pre-audit assessment can also be used as input to the audit. It cuts preparation costs and reduces time, effort and cost of the formal assessment.
